Lyman Dennis led the research and evaluation unit of Medicus Systems and then supported procurements for Whittaker International. Founded an IT business in graduate school and wrote the software. For 12 years, involved in health information exchange (HIE) as the leader of ConnectHealthcare and then, by merger, with a larger HIE in Northern California. Previously, CIO of Partnership HealthPlan of California and, earlier, the general manager of CIGNA HealthPlan of California and an officer of Greater San Diego Health Plan. Regional manager of Whittaker Health Services, a startup national health plan.  BS in physics from Purdue University and an MBA and Ph.D. from Tulane University in management science.  Classes on artificial intelligence and data science at UC Berkeley and is independently studying technical materials and running AI models.
